Don't expect the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team to announce its complete schedule for the 2008-09 season before Labor Day.

The schedule is usually announced by now but the Big Ten Conference portion of the Badgers' schedule is not yet finished because the conference is finalizing dates and tip-off times...

December 6 at 8:30 and to be broadcast on ESPNU per jsonline. Should make for an "energetic" crowd. Much better than two seasons ago when the game was a mid afternoon affair. I always thought this game was better off being played at night both in Milwaukee and Madison.

I just heard on PARDON THE INTERRUPTION that Crean signed a 2 year extension with the Loosiers BEFORE HE HAS EVEN COACHED A GAME?? Oh God, please oh please reign down upon the evil ones in Bloomington and make them pay for their cockiness and certaintude that Tommy is their man. If there is one school in the Big Ten Basketball World that I loathe more than IU, I can't think of them.

Max's Weekend With Michael

Michael came to DC this weekend to spend a little time with Max before he heads overseas.

Among the highlights: a tour of the monuments, shooting hoops, bowling, countless games of Wii and a trip to see the Orioles-Angels game courtesy of the amazing folks at Mid Atlantic Sports Network.

Everything that we knew to be true about Michael Flowers was confirmed. He is an incredible young man with a bright future ahead of him.
