Alyssa Karel led the way for the Badgers with a season-high 23 points, shooting 9-of-15 from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Lin Z chipped in 10 points.

UW was aided by bad FT's shooting by MU. MU missed over 10 free throws . UW out rebounded MU 39 to 31.

The men will go for the sweep in couple hours.

J Robinson could be in trouble

Apparently he and other asst. coaches are being looked at with regards to off campus housing. He recently bought a house and sold it 3 weeks later to Luke Becker so that is raising some eyebrows. They mentioned something like 55 properties are involved. I found a link to a story.

UW 28 OSU 20

Is it to much to hope for a big upset ?

One of those games where you hate to see the half end.
OSU came out in the 2nd half hitting the 3 point shot and that open the inside game

The final score does not show how hard the team played for most of the game.

Wow, I thought this team might be up and down this year but nothing like we have seen now. Fundamental skills are below average, team confidence at a low, and I am wondering if there is concern about this program in the Ath Dept? On the other hand, Christy Johnson, former UW assistant, has taken Iowa State to the top. They beat Nebraska once this year. I think we really miss her presence and recruiting.

Women's soccer at BC

Looks like the Women's soccer team fell in the sweet 16 1-0 to BC. A good run for the team, the best they've done since I was an undergrad (finished 2nd to UNC my freshman or sophomore year).

On the plus side, the loss means the Alaskan twins can play hockey.

Wisconsin's No. 10 ranked men's cross country team won its eighth straight NCAA Division 1 Great Lakes Regional title and 28th in school history today. Now its on to the NCAA meet Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind. Go Big Red! Bring the title home.

UW sports fans had a lot of events they could attend Friday in Madison.

Women's soccer advances in NCAA Tournament with shoot-out win over Arizona State. Will play No. 6 Central Florida in second round in Madison this weekend.

Women's hockey also wins, 6-2 over Wayne State

Wrestling wins and men's swimming team topped Northwestern. Maggie Meyer of the women's swimming auomatically qualifies for the NCAA meet.

No. 10 Wisconsin defeated No. 22 Old Dominion 21-19 before 1,000 fans at the UW Field House Friday. The Meet came down to heavyweight and Wisconsin's Eric Bugenhagen, a redshirt junior from Franklin won to seal the dual meet win. Score was close because Brandvold didn't wrestle due to injury thus Wisconsin gave up points at 197. Big pin by Eric Burke of Mineral Point at 157 which was also a difference maker. Graf is as good as advertised. Won his first varsity match by tech. fall. Big...

Wisconsin's slump continues as Ohio State Drubs the Badgers 3-0. The Badgers hit .123. I am concerned about their effort as well as if they think they can win. from Waite's interview: "We come out next week and we've got another opportunity on Monday to train and watch tape and get better," Waite said. "That's been our goal and we've hit a plateau as far as the energy level on the court.

Dolgner had 16 kills, A Wack had 16 (and hit .270) the Middles (Mitchell and Ohlander) combined for 15 kills, and four players had double digit digs. Michigan had 10 service errors in the first two sets to help the Badgers get the lead.
