As a former Ogg East (5th floor) resident myself, I have to agree that Ogg does suck. I was in denial for a while, but I've come to terms with the truth.

I just looked it up, and the back of a shirt from 1992 can definitely confirm that Sellery was indeed "A stalk above the rest."

I moved around a lot

89-90 Witte 9A
90-91 Cole Hall (4th floor) and then Liz Waters
91-92 Adams Hall

Although I spent most of my dorm life near the lake, I have very fond memories of living in the SE dorms.

My sister lived in Ogg for a year. I always felt sorry for her.

I was in Bullis too, hannon. '03-'04. I was in 601, which had been former running back Dwayne Smith's dorm the year prior. For whatever reason, his name was still in student phone book. Hence, we used to get calls from girls asking for him all the time. My roommate would always play along and make up random excuses why he wasn't home.

Shot, I think we missed each other by a couple of years. I was there pretty recently: 1999-2001 Still had plenty of booze despite the higher drinking age. No kegs though, unfortunately. I think my favorite thing about living in Kronshage was that it brought down the size of the university some. Pretty much knew everyone who lived in my building. We were all pretty close at the time.

Bullis House, Ogg West, '83-'84 and '84-'85. I believe I've mentioned on here before that I worked at the desk in Ogg in '84-'85. I may have sold laundry tickets to some of you slouches. When I moved off-campus for my junior and senior years, I worked at Gordo's (but never at Pop's) - just some of my experiences working jobs which aren't exactly respected.

I lived in 277 Detling House (Sellery A) in 89-90 and 102 Mack House (Kronshage) in 90-91 so I'm both a SE and Lakeshore alum. I had a good time in both places. I got written up one night for yelling out my window in Sellery. I'm pretty sure I was yelling "Ogg sucks."

Checkin in as Ely 3B sellery as well.

They cant blow up Ogg because there are utility tunnels that run underneath or something like that. I go past it every day and let me tell you- at the pace that those guys were working there was no way that they were going to be able to have it finished. It was like a floor a week. The state doesn't learn their lesson. They took these guys just because they were the lowest bid, but they had a bunch of trouble before. They were also in charge...

Ogg West looks like it had the top half of it blown off, and has been that way for about 6 weeks. It's not a pretty site, and will have to be disposed of by someone if they want that ped walkway. They can't get...
