Posts: 696 March 29, 2012 6:18 PM	Van Dellen played on a pretty good UWO team back in the late 70s. Joel Claasen, Pete Neuberger and, of course, Ralph Sims were all on that team. I believe Casey Dehn's dad Bill was on the roster as well.

Dworak was from Kewaunee and could have played at a higher level, perhaps UWGB.

Posts: 7314 March 29, 2012 7:51 PM The Bishop of Bonduel	If Kalsow is half as good of a coach as he was a player wherever he lands is going to have one hell of a fine coach. By his junior and senior years he was a D1 player competing at the D3 level. Those teams were absolutely loaded and Kalsow was the stud among studs.

Posts: 5537 March 29, 2012 10:32 PM	UWO tried to hire a HS coach with the womens team with Terri Schumacher and she has failed miserably. Ted is retiring young, he's my age, we played baseball together as 11 year olds then he moved to Berlin. Bill Dehn graduated HS (Oshkosh West Indians, er Wildcats!) in 1975, so yes he was on the 1978 UWO team that won the WIAC, their last title until the aforementioned 2002 team. Sims was a tremendous talent, who died way too young at age 38. Tim Locum spent a year or two as an assistant at UWO, don't know what he is doing now. Gary Greszk?

Would it be a pay raise from the DIII privates to the WIAC schools, or just going for a little more exposure? I had a good friend who played in the WIAC at that time. I went to watch him play when they played at Point. He was telling me before the game that Kalsow was better than Zach Morley. First play Kalsow pump faked, took one dribble from the free throw line and slammed on everyone. I was very impressed.
