Sure hope the UW staff is able to get him on campus, as it would seem they are becoming a bit of an afterthought.

I thought the response was pretty measured. I think that those of us that enjoy the ups and downs, the what ifs of college basketball recruiting. One thread is not asking too much to not have to be mocked for it by fellow nerds. some of which think that losing to North Dakota is OK.

Posts: 143 May 22, 2012 8:34 AM	I think people have been getting their hopes up way too high for Semi. UW has struggled recruiting out of state talent when competing with other major conference schools..especially athletic wing players. Luckily there was finally a great instate player in Dekker to fill the hole, but we still need a couple more.

If they aren't excited they are either a) a zombie or b) have not paid attention to basketball the last 10 years. Do you try to become Facebook friends too? When your hobby takes you there, it may be time to change your hobby. I personally don't follow them on twitter or facebook, but I guess I don't care if somebody decides they want to.

UW recruiting is vastly more popular than UWM Basketball, yet he sees no problems with regularly updating the world wide web on those happenings. (For the record, I like his UWM updates; but realize most don't care). I agree with Fran on one point... when a guy talks about 11 schools being considered, but only mentions 9 schools or needs a second tweet because he forgot a school the first time... any conversation surrounding that is worthless nonsense. And honestly, if I read the article, I wouldn't post it because it does nothing but generate pointless speculation. Follow me on Twitter.

It notes something that the kid's AAU coach tweeted, but that's it. I have never followed a high school kid's twitter feed. However, I follow several older adults who have retweeted a high school kid's tweet. Usually because it's something newsworthy. I'm quite sure that Eric and many others on this board have seen the same tweets.
