Big game this morning from Ohio forward Nigel Hayes, as he scored 17 points and grabbed 8 boards in leading All Ohio to a win over Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor and the Mac Irvin Fire squad. Based on what I have seen and read, I am hoping that Hayes is the priority PF for the UW staff in the 2013 class. It would be excellent if they could get him on campus this summer for a visit. A June visit would be great so they could offer him and get a jump on other competition that may materialize after the July evaluation period. With Hayes' size and versatility, he could play next to someone like Kyle Washington or Maverick Morgan.http://www.nikeeyb.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/OC4G5.pdfThere's another event going on in Chicago. I saw a tweet the Playmakers lost their first game, and another that said Bronson was not with the Swing this weekend. Here's a free Rivals article from the event, with an interesting UW-related item:"Demetrius Woodley - 6-foot-3, SG, Milwaukee (Wisc.) Vincent, 2013: Woodley is an athletic slashing guard who plays an efficient all-around floor game for his Devin Harris All-Stars team. He can score the ball at a high rate without getting many shots because he attacks the rim so hard that he lives at the foul line. He's a very quick first-step slasher who drives the ball north-south without wasting any momentum. Also a good defender and a tough competitor, Woodley is hearing from Marquette, Wisconsin, Xavier and Toledo."http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1369344

He may have even been the coach of the team the Playmakers beat this evening. Good publicity for Matt and the Playmakers.

Hopefully Semi will be joining Jalen on the trip to Madison. Big man Maverik Morgan is the other higher profile name that has come out regarding attendance at the advanced camp. Koenig won't be there, asssuming he's at teh NBA top 100 camp. Thomas could miss for the same reason.
