Obama is reportedly +6 among today's electorate, and the November electorate will only be more Dem-friendly. Unless we fall into another economic depression in the next few months Romney will not win Wisconsin by 6. On the November election, too early to tell. If I had to bet now I'd say Obama by 2%. I'm not picking exactly how that 2% falls because of the unknown of some independent guy wasting people's votes.

Posts: 4116 June 5, 2012 11:42 PM	Remove this ad I should be clear, my beef regarding the waste of money is strictly regarding public workers having to administer this thing. There was a ton spent in the campaign and the differential was talked about on TV tonight but with exit polls showing 90+% of the people having their minds made up long ago I don't think money made a lick of difference in this race. Citizens can spend their own money any legal way they damn well please if they have it.

Turns out Rasmussen was off slightly, understating Walker's lead, but would probably have been closer had they done a later poll. Their last poll, almost a month ago predicted Walker by about 5% and he won by about 7%. Nice to see such high turnout---except for the 100% plus in some Dem dominated areas. The only reason to allow same day registration without very good ID is to maintain undetectable and unprovable vote fraud.

I posted a link that showed they were among the worst national polling outfits in the 2010 election. You've got one election and some verbiage from Rasmussen's own website talking about their success (but ignoring their multiple failures). Pretty much every poll got it right down the stretch, but weren't you touting a poll that Rasmussen ran that had Walker up 10+ points? It's an absolute paradox. I've gotta believe David Axelrod didn't sleep well last night and is allocating resources immediately to assess the damage and recalibrate his tactical approach regarding Wisconsin and similarly situated states. Not something he or his staff wanted to be doing today.

Its hard to put much stock in the exit polls, but the fact that they found 17% of Walker supports were Obama supporters is tough to discount. It's an absolute paradox.
