Why 2 Badger |
What's your ring tone? |

|
I seem to have toasted my cell phone last week. I got caught in a torrential down pour on the golf course last week and my phone was ruined. I went to get a
new one, and thankfully they were able to transfer all the contacts unfortunately my sweet-ass if you wanna be a badger ring tone was gone. I could not find
the same one online so I opted for the "a-team" theme song as my new one.
What's yours? |

I just got a new cell phone today, and downloaded "On, Wisconsin" but all I have is the first part of the full march--not the third, which is what we
all think of. So, where can I get what I really want? I'm counting on your advice, chedda.
These ARE the good old days!

The sound of a ringing phone.
I do remember getting a BJ by some chick behind PDQ on Northport before the fireworks.

Just a normal electronic ring. To me, having a song sample for a ring tone is the bumper sticker of the 2000s. I think I've ranted about it before here,
a few times.
[Though I have to admit, if I heard A-Team, I'd get a big grin, and if I heard On Wisconsin I'd probably start humming along.] |

One of the Motorola stock tones. On my old phone, I had 20-25 different ringtones downloaded. The people who called me with any frequency got their own tones;
they were always a song that I could somehow link to them. "On, Wisconsin" was assigned to my grandparents, as it was always Grandpa who would be the
one to take me to Camp Randall or the Field House.
I just haven't gotten around to setting anything up with my new phone (which I've had for 15 months now). |

The milkshake song. It embarrasses my son.
If we are to survive a new balance must be found. In normal times evil would be fought by good, but in times like these, well, it should be fought by another
kind of evil.

On Wisconsin of course.

Sometimes it's a regular ring, most of the time it's "I'm shipping out to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys. Once in a while it's
"Tonto, jump on it"

On my old phone, it was On, Wisconsin. Cheap electronic version that sounded like crap, but at least it was the familiar part of the march. New phone, better
downloads, but now I have the problem Ol Badger has, the On, Wisconsin download is the unfamiliar opening of the march. I wasn't going to pay for that, and
didn't like the other Wisconsin options. Instead, I have the TV theme to "Mission: Impossible" as my main ringtone and my in-laws have,
"Dueling Banjos." I love them dearly, though they are hill folk.

Normal ring is the default, shrill ring for son #1, Hallelujah Chorus for son#2 (who rarely calls me). Only the kids have distinctive rings. I don't
download songs since I have yet to figure out how those free iPods I won work.
Next year....In Pasadena.

OKAY, so how do I get a Badger ringtone without a hassel? | #11 | ||

The only ones I've seen require signing up for some sort of service.
Do I get my technically savvy kids to use an iPod for me?

I can't believe people actually pay for ring tones. Using bluetooth, I just send mp3s from my computer to my cellphone. I have custom ring tones for
friends, work, chicks, and family.
I think I may need a board ruling on this question. Is it ok to have Hail to the Victors for my friend who is a Michigan fan? |
