local DC radio seemed to indicate that the 2010 pick was conditional - if Taylor goes nuts (15+ sacks) it might be more like a 3rd rounder.
It'll be interesting to see if he wants to play more than one season in DC. |

Cheap? The guy has come out and stated that he very well may be a "1 and done" guy so that he can go Hollywood and become the next Ken Howard(or OJ
if you must), I know that the 'skins lost some DL recently but this isnt a real good trade for them, IMHO.

This will be interesting for Palermo. There will be ramped up expectations for his line. They just went from solid, but unspectacular to being a focal point of
the defense. I wonder what this means for Erasmus?

This looks to be a move intended to address lack of depth problems. The Skins just announced that 2 of their DEs are going to miss the upcoming season.

has never been afraid to deal draft picks to win now. I wanted the Packers to trade for him, but a 2nd and a conditional pick (a possible 2-6 rounder) is too
much in my opinion.

Terrible, terrible trade for the Skins. Snyder is like the nerdy kid playing with his toy. " Ihave heard of this guyy..he's awesome!!!!"

butchbadger wrote: While Snyder acts like a rich fan with a toy and little knowledge of how to play with it, this deal actually was cooked up by Vince Cerrato. The main reason for it is that starter Philip Daniels went down for the season on the first day of camp yesterday, and was joined by reserve DL Alex Buzbee. Given the lack of depth on the DL before those injuries, the Redskins were hardly in a good bargaining position. Cerrato apparently is a friend of Taylor's agent, and called him as soon as Daniels was injured to start the deal rolling. As for Erasmus, the WP reports:
These ARE the good old days!
