Pick two or three posters, the genes from whom would make a good contribution to coming up with a reasonable internet board poster. I'd stay away from those of us who regularly post on the politics board.

I'll go with WisVesgas, TAW and SoCal. They exude an abundance of common sense, yet still maintain a discernible edge about them that make these boards prosper.

Numen and Sixty - if you're looking for reasonable. How they mate and reproduce will be left for another day.

Certainly, I'm not the person to ask about this. As much as I don't impress folks around here as being reasonable, I also don't really look for reasonable when reading the board. I like my insurance rates reasonable. When it comes to diversion such as this, I put a higher premium on entertaining, stimulating, emotionally invested, etc.

I appreciate the thought Myles, but I average one post every 5 days. Board do not prosper with the likes of me.

When I think of TAW and SoCal, both contribute insight to a topic, with a touch of soft and clever wit, without blowing out the candle of another poster.

In is just too bad, some posters bring fire, and not light, to these boards. Unlike those posters, TAW and SoCal are noble spirits.

If you look in the lower right-hand corner of each post you will see the word "Quote". Just click on that and the post will be quoted.
