Blais led North Dakota to two national championships and a runnerup finish in a five-year stretch between 1997 and 2001 and led the Fighting Sioux to seven NCAA tournaments in 10 seasons. He compiled a 262-115-33 record, won five regular-season Western Collegiate Hockey Association championships and two WCHA tournament titles. Posts: 779 06/12/09 11:52 AM	I would think he'd push to have UNO join the WCHA, as much as a brand new coach can, though he has some clout to back it up. Being at NoDak, he knows the advantages of being in the WCHA. On the flip side, if he builds a better program, staying in the CCHA is an easier way to the NCAA tourney. The CCHA is a fucking joke in depth of teams. Michigan Tech probably would have been .500 over there last season. Michigan and Notre Dame are big draws, but once UNO fans get to know the WCHA, they'd fill the house for UW, minnesota, NoDak and Denver and warm up to basically everyone else if they like hockey.

I didn't necessarily mean literally, but they will be "filling the house" a lot more than they do now (aka higher attendance) w/ an overall cast of better opponents compared to the CCHA. Next time I'll spell out exactly what I mean.
