Last time it only ticked to $83 then came back down into the $60s, so its affect on the economy was muted. This time the charts look to take oil to well over $90. It will likely happen in January and if not then by May, although if it waits that long it will go over $100. The only way oil won't go up that high is if there is a big equity market selloff, which should bring oil down with it. About health insurance, my comments are extremely accurate. The majority of denied claims are claims that should be denied. I also do believe that denied claims should be increased rather than cut back, as overuse is the biggest problem within our health care system. About the liberal policies of George W, tax cuts are a liberal fiscal policy. Tax increases are a liberal fiscal policy if they are to increase revenues to support entitlement programs or social programs. Tax increases are a conservative policy if done to reduce the budget deficit (see Clinton and Eisenhower). Free trade is also a liberal policy. Protectionism has always been a conservative policy, usually done to built up protective walls for domestic companies to keep prices and thus profits high. About black people, of course they tend to exhibit behavior that white people typically don't. ABout the military being a "religious institution", that wasn't written correctly and I later corrected it. I meant to say that the military is an institution with a strong religious tradition and religion plays a strong role within the organization and its members. About the term "gang rape", the article was just an example of a left wing writer/blogger trying to associate KBR with the word "gang-rape". It's a propaganda stunt. Note how he gives no details of the alleged rape.
