I have had women basketball season tickets since the KC open.
I go and support the team in both the good and bad times, that is what a fan does. we have had tickets in football since 1969, saw many bad teams and have not jumped off that bandwagon either. |

While I generally agree with BJ's sentiment, I don't think having a good time and watching bad basketball for the umpteenth season in a row are exactly
sympatico. I'm torn by supporting the kids, and not supporting an overmatched head coach that happens to be buddies with the AD. The fewer people that go
to the games, the more the point may get driven home?
I don't get to many games, but do try to watch them, but this year at $2.99 a clip I won't be doing that either. I'll might have some interest in your reports though! |

I'll only attend the B-10 games this season, but not any of the pre-season or pre-conference games as their competiton is weak as hell. Badgers will do
well again in PC games and probably only lose one or two games before B-10. The only PC home game worth going to is the GB game...all other PC's at Kohl
playing against cupcakes. I will probably attend their first B-10 home game which is on 12/28 against Michigan State and the 2nd (1/7 game against Purdue), and
will play it by ear after that.
I also have been torn by wanting to support the players, but not the head coach (for many obvious reasons). IMO this season will be Stone's last if they again finish poorly in conference and fail again to advance to ncaa, so the pressure will be on her to win conference games. I have been a die-hard Badgers fan, but I have been dying hard. I used to attend every home game and many on the road including B-10 tournament, but no mas
no mas. Don't have to worry about season tickets as the lines are not long and the tickets are cheap. I enjoy watching the players, but have tired of
watching Stone's guard-oriented offense and lack of full 'team play'. I also used to attend the team banquets until Stone closed to outsiders,
boosters no longer part of the women's bb program, and they also eliminatated the annual alumni game which I thought was fun to see former players.
