People the world over have always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power.

If they hadn't run the four juniors or seniors and just gone with the five freshmen and sophomores, they still would have won it. Only one guy of the nine
they ran (Reed Connor) had a really off day.
It's tough to get a handle on what this means for the NCAA's since the Big Ten seems to be really down this year, both with depth of top quality individuals and with good, deep teams. The times weren't good, but with all of the rain in State College this week, I would imagine it went out pretty slow. The Big Ten Network will actually do a delayed broadcast this year, but it's not scheduled to air until November 15. I'm hope I'm still alive by then. The women finished 10th, with a nice, solid defeat of Northwestern. To be fair, they would have been in the mix without the injuries. I don't think they would have won it, but they should have been at least 4th or maybe even better. Nice run by true freshman Kiah Ehrke finishing 30th. PLACE TEAM POINTS PLACES OF FINISHERS AVG. We kicked ARSE! Congrats guys, No. 11 in a row, No. 43 overall, that's more conference championships in one sport than any other in the Big Ten.
We are the best, just accept it. |
