Since Glover's appeal was denied, he most likely won't be part of the team all year.
That being said, Wise is not "taking his place". They had 17 on the roster last year and lost 3 (Landry, Joe, Gully). They have now added 2 (Wise and Brusier). You want 16 or 17 players because you like to have 3 teams of 5 in practice and someone is invariably hobbled, at class, getting treatment, etc. When the UW limited the team to 15, they invariably had a coach playing every practice, or they needed to call in an ex-player. You can only travel with 15, so Wise will stay in Madison. |

ETR - given that Glover stayed at UW, do you think he'll attempt to join the team next year?

Saugaro asks a good question; it was obvious that Glover and his family were distraught that the appeal was denied. But IMO the Board wants to see if he goes
through the lst offender program successfully. If he so, I think he will get reinstated and would want to join the team. From stories I read, this kid is a
good player and I believe in second chances as long as he fulfills the lst offender requirements.
