I want to start this in a new thread. This doesn't happen with out you. You know who you are, so no names will be missed when I say thank you. I do not
want to velvet rope anyone, so those who (for their very own good reason, none need explain here) could not help, we understand. What does the money go for?
Some families at that church that don't have anything but want something, anything for Xmas, right?
Yes fellow villians. It goes to a child that will have a "live kitty" (if the batteries do not run out) come Xmas. To a child who asked for 'FOOD' as his gift. To a lot of people wearing Badger clothing come this holiday. To the family of 17 whose mother wanted a Christmas tree and some ornaments for it. To R & R (brothers) who will each get a shiny bike this year.
And have to wait until spring to ride them. To the other people in the families who pretty much got what they asked for. To all the families who are getting a snow saucer/body board.
To all who got toys, shoes, boots, jackets, shirts/pants, board games, a toaster oven, a DVD player, gift cards for a nice Xmas dinner, and so much more.
a BIG THANK YOU to Pooleys:

Cpooly4 for the asking of his dad, and if Mr Pooley (Geoff) does not graciously let us use this place, then we have to go back to 76 badgers house. A nice house to be sure, but tooooooo small for our needs.
How did this start? Well one year......OK you've heard it before.
Back to Pooleys. They let us use their "gym area" with 8' tables set up and more to spare for our needs if wanted. They feed us ice cold diet soda and refreshing beer. We ordered delicious pizza (Pooleys, good pizza!). we rank on each other. You've probably read the TAW, you're 62? post.
Hotnutonfire (she really is!)
says to me 10 seconds in the door "where's your oldest, playing chess again?" " Yes" I say." Intelligence must have skipped a generation then." True, but she got me. The guy who collects the money, well rip on him all you want, it is also true.
Omni and BtotheArther (sp)
were my best bet for the annual Cheddar wrapping award. They failed (or won depending how you look at it) to even come close to Master Chedda.
Even Erica (their bando friend)
shied away from their area of wrapping, least she get sucked in.
Staff was/is a great man today and everyday. (on right) 76 also (on left).
Becky Camp family:
it was good to have you.
This how we started after we sorted it out:
TAW was, indeed, the Denmother again
and of course, my 8 yr old (that's a fun age!) Abby HF, who did not follow in her father's footsteps as the label maker. She went on to wrapping Nirvana with Hotnutonfire
They wrapped and wrapped, bringing the wrapped presents to me so I could place tags on them for the respective family members of the 8 families we had:
And then one quick shot of what we had accomplished (and the picture does not do this justice):
So to all who made this happened (in any which way you did)
THANK YOU
Some people are going to be very happy this Xmas. I am going to sleep well tonight and feel alright about myself in Church tomorrow. And the day after that and that, etc.
Biggest TY to Billy Flynn, he did as good as the others in charge from year to year. And to you, oh poster and lurker. It does not happen w/o you.
