As one of the few women on this board, I don't think I've ever been more upset with a thread. My heart is pounding, because I'm so upset. I had to jump into this.

I'm not upset because I'm some feminist that can't believe that men treat women as objects. I think a lot of women like to be treated that way, and those that go into the line of work where beauty matters, are setting themselves up for that sort of scrutiny.

What I am upset about is that you men stand behind your internet anonymity and talk about how some woman is fat, or ugly or has cellulite, or her boobs are saggy. I'd be willing to bet that some, if not most of you, have man boobs that are in need of a bra, a beer gut that hangs over your belt and a face that only your mother could love. JLH would not look twice at you.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a woman and NOT have any cellulite? Or how hard it is to have boobs that have fed children and NOT have them sag (OK, JLH hasn't fed children yet. Can't wait to hear what you say after she's done that!). The bandeau top JLH is wearing does not help with sagging. Unless a woman has fake boobs, that type of suit will ALWAYS make boobs look wierd. The only reason women wear those is so they don't have strap marks. Duh!

I know what's coming now.....I must be some fat ugly chick that is just defending her kind. Maybe someone that knows me can come to my defense on this. I'm a normal sized woman that drinks a lot of good beer, likes to have fun and tries to keep off the extra cellulite with some exercise. I worry that I'm fat, like most women do, but I don't let it get the better of me.

I am married to a wonderful man who is defying his age and looks like something out of magazine. I would post a picture of him, but he'd be way too embarrassed about that. Whenever I can, I try to pull his shirt up so people can admire his 6 pack. Not an ounce of fat on him.

I know you're just having fun on Buckyville, you don't really mean anything by it, but try to remember the saying about casting stones, when you make comments like that about women. And yes, I make fun of people too, I'm not holier than thou at all. I just had to comment. Rant over. Carry on.
