Question for OB or any of the other political junkies...
With Obama and Clinton pretty much even in terms of delegates right now, let's assuming the following over the next few weeks:
- Clinton takes two of three in OH, PA, and TX, winning by a fairly small margin
- Obama takes one of three in OH, PA and TX
- Obama takes the rest of the states
At that point they would still be pretty much even, not counting the superdelegates.
My question: When, if ever, would the results from Michigan and Florida come into play? I realize they are not supposed to count towards the delegate total for the DNC, but if they did, Clinton wins. There is no law that says the delegates don't count, just a gentleman's agreement, correct? How would the dispute over whether to include Florida and Michigan's delegates be handled?
