As someone who grew up in Green Bay and went to Iowa State I have to say that my response was $%&*#&%@^^&@$!!!! What the hell is that thing... I thought the old Cy-Hawk trophy sucked, but this one takes the suck level up a notch or TEN.... No excuse other than this had to be designed by an Iowa grad, it's the only thing I can come up with...

Trophies for football games should be based upon meat products or killing devices. If the makers of this Iowa trophy had stuck with those themes they'd have made a better trophy, that's for damn sure.

My first thought is that it looks like something you put on top of a First Communion cake. My second thought is that it makes the Heartland Trophy (AKA Baal of ten commandment fame) look pretty damn good in comparison. Can they refuse to use the trophy?

Also, I doubt most farm wives wear underwire bras while working around the the old farmyard.

I like it. The artist somehow managed to portray the subjects' stupidity in their faces and postures and without obvious allusion such as illiteracy or water dowsing.
