small class size by anyone's standards so it will never hit any of the team rankings.  High level (as it stands) it is probably one of the best we have had in a while, but with some of the turmoil it is becomming what could have been type thing.  There are still a couple big players that we are waiting on.

Hurts:
-Kyle Dodson OT from Ohio who verbaled early started to waffle when Urban Liar got in his ear.  Although he still said he was 80% UW it has looked like he has been gone for some time and OSU or USC have been the rumored spots.  BB put one final sit down on him which increased our chances, but most still expect him too leave.
-JJ Denman OT out of eastern Pitt has decommited to Rutgers.  Some thought he was our best OL verbal.  Funny thing is he was first at PSU and opted out in the wake of the scandal.  Came to us and opted out in the wake of the Chuck Fryst avalanche.  Went to Rutgers because Daddy finally got his way and then Schiano left 3 days later.  Who knows if moves again.  He started to visit other schools when Chuck Fryst and staff got him up to Pitt.  Decided he didn't need to meet our new OL coach.

Could Help:
-Jordan Diamond mamouth OT from IL gave us his final visit over the weekend as well as being on at least 2 unofficials to UW in the past.  He was an early Michy lean, but they seemed to slow for awhile.  He dropped OSU and some speculate that is because they think they have Dodson.  There is a lot of signs pointing to a UW call (passing on some other OL, and late push by BB and staff), but it also seems like Michy is back on.  Would be a very nice late pick up as he is a 4 star pretty much every where.
-Demetrius Cox S out of PA.  We seemed to lead for him at one time and then we faded.   some of this is a direct link our coaching fall out.  We beat out ND for his last official visit and i think he is still in madison today.  This could be a tight one and i think it will come down to us and MSU.  my guess the criminals get him.  Really great prospect and the type of athlete we dont usually get in centerfield.

Names to remember:
-Vince Biegel LB from Wisconsin Rapids.  This kid screams tough complete LB.  Rated #3 in the country by 247 and will be a beast for us.
-Dan Voltz OG from IL.  Probably our highest rated kid and already on campus.  best guess is Konz part 2.  great signing.
-Bart Houston QB from CA.  We finally signed a stud QB who also finished high at the elite 11 national camp.  Wisconsin type kid.
-DJ Singleton S from NJ.  Got him early in the process, but looks like a steal.  Will play early.

All in all a success, but some are disappointed due to the loss of momentum by the Chuck Fryst ordeal.  Coming off 2 RB's we expected more gains, but at the same time could have came out much worse.  I think when people step away from the ledge they will see the final effort dubB's put in and the great staff he has hired.  This may turn into one of the better recruiting staffs we have had here.  OC = upgrade, WR= huge upgrade, and OL = upgrade. That is from what we have already seen and they are still growing together.  Throw in Strickland who was already working to hold it together as a GA and we might have some real excitement on the trail.

I know, seriously. Best wishes to him and the staff he brought with them. So much info we are not privy too...

At the end of the day, I have a hard time faulting someone for doing what they believe is the best thing for themselves and their families. He left the right way, no reason to be bitter.
