Posts: 4416 February 19, 2012 3:50 PM just starting to think about having a doner.	Remove this ad BTN. I got caught up in Linsanity and Novakaine and forgot about the game until about 2:30 left.. they were down 26 at one point and got back down to 8.. looks like it'll be a 10-15 pt game to finish. Boy, Nicole Bauman is really going to help them at G next year.. I can't believe the whole Bowe thing.. and Grandinjan woulda gave them another scorer/athletic wing which looks like they could use. They are playing hard right now.. they just aren't very good.

They are playing hard right now.. they just aren't very good. even more of a head scratcher in light of this comment: “I would like to get big on the perimeter, but right now we need talent,” she said. “If you can get a program-changer, you’re going to take her — I don’t care if you already have two in her spot.” Bowe may not be a program changer, but she clearly has the talent to play at this level. Posts: 6448 February 20, 2012 3:56 PM Ed Nuttycombe	I've watched parts of about 4 games, and there's just not much talent there outside of Wurtz and Covington. Kelsey has a lot of work to do. Every time he opens his mouth he lowers the sum total of human intelligence.

And they were ahead midway through the first half. Weren't the same team after the Iowa loss in OT at home. They were riding a wave momentum like young teams do and when that was cut off in heartbreaking fashion there was nothing left. They only won one game after that. And in a sense that was why Lisa Stone was canned because I believe TPTB at 1440 Monroe St. knew this wasn't going to be a good season no matter who the coach was. So better to start over in this environment than with a veteran club. If the talent wasn't there, then that's indictment on Stone. You're right, Kelsey has a lot, a lot of work ahead of her.
