1. Great to see Josh Gasser get going. I thought he was aggressive for most of the game. It was also nice to hear the post-game comments from both Coach Ryan and Paris that they basically have to beg Josh to shoot the G-Damn thing. Surprisingly, that's contrary to what the geniuses around here think.
2. If I see Frank Kaminsky pass up one more shot with both feet in the lane, I may have to run down on the floor with a tape measure and prove to him that he's nearly 7-feet tall. Shoot the effing ball.
3. Frazier is a nice player, but when he gets the ball, we should give him an open lane to the basket on his left. Jim Abbott was better with his opposite hand. If Frazier could actually use both hands he'd be Allen Iverson.
4. As much as us running the shot clock down can be a problem, sometime it actually is a good thing. The problem now is that this issue has gotten so much publicity that "dumb guy fan" has caught on and has a coronary every time the clock hits 10 seconds. People, just because you shoot at 3 seconds doesn't automatically make it a bad shot and doesn't mean that you were just "standing around" the previous 30+ seconds. Evaluate the play, not the number on the shot clock. Dumping it to Evans for an open lay-up with 3 seconds left and he gets fouled is a good play... I promise.
5. I don't know what "Dance Team Coach" involves, but I would suspect it's not exactly rocket science. I think insuring that the correct music gets played at least 1 of the first 2 times probably shouldn't be a big challenge. Come on sweet cheeks... just pick the right CD and tell the guy to hit play. I know you can do it!
6. Well, Rob Wilson fans... you keep getting your wish. 0-3, 2 rebounds and an assist. I smell that breakout coming anytime now.
7. I really wish the game would have been over at 49-29, because we had played such a nice game up until that point. Even mediocre play over the next 5 minutes and the game looks good, but we just can't avoid that stretch. It still felt good to shoot 50% from downtown and have pretty balanced scoring.
8. Chambers really seems like he's out of his league as a Big 10 coach. He sorta reminds me of a younger Bielema at his worst... demonstrative comments on every play and bitching turned to "Level 10" for 40 minutes.
9. 3 games, 3 major screw-ups by the PA guy. Penn State has a players named Ross Travis. He is from Minnesota and the Badgers recruited him for several months. No matter how many times the PA guy calls his "Travis Ross", his name will not change. Seriously, it's not a hard job.
10. I thought Tre Jackson played a great game. I understand that Bo pulled Wilson for not going hard after rebound that was then thrown off him, but Jesus H. Christ, let the kid play 2 minutes until the next timeout.
