I can not fucking believe the play this story is getting, but Romney needs to mend his woes with women if he wants a chance, and this contrived controversy/narrative might just help him do it. New media has it's own set of problems but this is a fantastic example of why traditional media sucks. I'm sure David Gregory will ask some super serious questions to his super serious token D and token R guests about this super serious controversy on Meet the Press this Sunday. I had a similar reaction. It says volumes about us that this now passes for political debate in our nation. Bless the Badgers.
