likewhoa123 wrote:So I ate dinner with my grandparents tonight and we watched the NBC evening news. The first two segments were on this "controversy". They had a five minute breakdown of the comments and reaction and then a five minute "field" report on stay-at-home Moms and their reaction to the comments. How does this bullshit warrant two fucking segments? On the same day Zimmerman goes to court and N. Korea fires off a missile? I'm not usually into media bias conspiracies but I totally buy the notion that the media craves a presidential horse race. I can not fucking believe the play this story is getting, but Romney needs to mend his woes with women if he wants a chance, and this contrived controversy/narrative might just help him do it. New media has it's own set of problems but this is a fantastic example of why traditional media sucks. I'm sure David Gregory will ask some super serious questions to his super serious token D and token R guests about this super serious controversy on Meet the Press this Sunday.

In addition to her maids, how many nannies?
BuzzFeed has reached out to the Romney campaign for comment, and will update when they respond. The only woman of the right age in the Pontiac area identified in public records as "Juanita" was listed with a telephone number that has been disconnected.
The call took place on Current's morning program, the Stephanie Miller Show.
Last, but not least, avoid clichés like the plague.
