Here are the latest rankings on the CBS draft website:

1. Zeitler - 32 overall - 1st or 2nd round

2. Konz - 36 overall - 1st or 2nd round

3. Wilson - 115 overall - 3rd or 4th round

4. Toon - 124 overall - 4th round

5. Henry - 147 overall - 4th or 5th round

6. Ewing - 217 overall - 6th or 7th round

7. Nzegwu - 323 overall - 7th round or free agent

8. Nortmann - 329 overall - 7th round or free agent

9. Welch - 333 overall - 7th round or free agent

2013: Wagner is #1 OT, Ball is #4 RB, Taylor is #11 OLB.

Looks like the entire 2011 Wisconsin starting offense will end up on NFL rosters.

NYC...thanks for providing that. Do you have a link to that page? I'm glad to see RW get his due attention. About 2 weeks ago, I saw a ridiculous thread on another board, debating if he'd get drafted. Last year he made the jump from RT to LT; a more challenging position. I expect to see him make another gain in his proficiency this year. The quiet giant can play and move his feet with the best of them.

Toon seems a bit low to me, otherwise looks pretty good. See Henry more 5/6.

I agree. With the way the league is going (Packers, Saints, etc.), teams will be looking for guys with the skill set of Toon. The main reason for downgrade was concern over nagging injuries.

Toon pretty generally fell as the process proceeded; he's neither really big nor really fast, sort of a combo of both. Add in some questions about occasional drops and 4th round seems likely to me.
Zeitler has really climbed - he's almost an automatic first or high second at this point.

Based on the combine results, I'd be really surprised if Oglesby made an NFL roster...but I get your point.

Ogelsby ran 5.78 second 40-yard dash, which may be slower than any player drafted and which is the #1 reason he is very unlikely to be drafted. An undersized, quicker guy is more likely to make the roster.

Oglesby also has an injury history that will scare off at least some teams. His knees will be a significant concern.

I think Ogelsby gets drafted despite a shitty Combine (in addition to poor 40 also only put up 22 reps on the bench). He had a really solid senior year and projects well at RT in the NFL. He's going to have trouble with speed, but his size and success make him draftable.

Surprised Butrym is not listed. He will definitely be in a camp this summer and has a shot to be drafted...better shot than Welch, Nortman, or Nzegwu in my opinion. He could play either DT in a 4-3 or DE in a 3-4.

I think Toon goes on Day 2 (2-3 round) as well. He had a really solid Combine. Injury concerns and the fact that he just didn't get the ball that often keep him from being an elite NFL prospect.

My prediction: Both OL will go in 1st. Wilson 3rd, Toon 4th, Henry 6th, Oglesby 6th, Ewing 7th, Nortman/Nzegwu/Welch/Butrym/Oglesby - Free Agents. Think the NFL will go to 90 man rosters again which is good for Free Agent Chances.

Toon is the same size as NY Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks but .10 faster in the 40. Nicks is one of the best young receivers in the game, so if GM's have an issue with Toon's combination of size and speed then they aren't too bright. My guess is that they are concerned with his history of nagging injuries and his occasional issues with drops.

Great article by Bob McGinn with some nuggets on the Badgers:

On Toon (was the biggest eye opener):

"I like the guy - a lot," one scout said. "He will be a good one. Third round sounds about right. He's in the second tier of receivers." Saved his best for last, catching 64 passes for a 14.5 average and 10 TDs as a senior. "Little bit of an underachiever almost," another scout said. "Just doesn't give it to you when they need it the most." Vertical jump of 39, broad jump of 10-10, 18 reps on the bench and Wonderlic of 18. Refused to run the three shuttle runs both at the combine and pro day. "We pleaded with him to do it and he said no every time," a third scout said. "That (expletive) everybody off. Then he goes out there and runs routes after not doing the shuttles. That's the attitude of a front-runner. I worry about his toughness. I'm very concerned about his toughness. He won't block, either. Good luck to the team that takes him."

There were some brutal comments in that article. I recall that one scout said he wouldn't draft anyone off the Badgers defense because it was so bad. All that said, I have read McGinn's scout quotes for many, many years at draft time and have concluded that there are typically about 3 guys per draft that they like. It's always depressing* to read these quotes about the guys the Packers draft. "Don't like him; doesn't square his hips" "Just a guy. 5th round" (referring to a 3rd round pick).

*Yet I keep reading them every year.

I think the scout makes some decent points, but I totally disagree the comments regarding Toon's blocking (or lack thereof)...Nick is excellent blocking downfield and has done so time and time again.

I played golf with a NFL running backs coach recently and he loves the Wisconsin program. Said several times that Wisconsin players know how to play. He likes Ewing, but was disappointed in his bench number.
