They have 5 QB's now, having mortgaged their future drafts for Griffin and then, in a head-scratching move, they pick a guy with INTANGIBLES and LEADERSHIP in the fourth round to come in and compete with their franchise QB?? What am I missing? I think Shanahan has lost his fucking mind, either that or he has lost his balls to tell Bruce Allen and the little midget Danny to let him run his own team... On the other hand, the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys have all done a great job so far, at least filling spaces they need. I find it difficult to say good things about the 'Boys, but they have had a very good draft, unlike the team in OB's town...hahahaha! Minnesota is Native-American for BAD AT FOOTBALL...

Team aside, Kirk must be scratching his head, wondering WHY ME?? I thought it humorous listening to Mike Mayock defending the decision (he is a closet Skin fan, following in his dad's footsteps despite growing up near Philly) while all of the other analysts were ripping it!! On ESPN, Trent Dilfer was brutally ripping the decision, as were most. 3 egomaniacs working together, hmmmm (Shanahan, Allen, Snyder). Minnesota is Native-American for BAD AT FOOTBALL...

The Vikings have at least been close (sometimes painfully close) to Super Bowls recently and the general feeling is they did pretty well in this draft. The Skins have been shit since 1991 and in the unlikely event that they make the playoffs, are usually done in short order. If anything I'd compare them to the Browns.

First, he's in a tough division and his opponents have proven to be better and somehow they improve every year. Second, I think he's worried about his legacy. It's starting look like those Denver teams were more a product of "the right guys being together at the right time" than anything resembling Shanahan being a coaching genius. However, he's going to get ZERO snaps as they get RG3 assimilated, so I'm not sure I fully get how exactly he's going to learn and grow. McShay mentioned that RG3 does come with injury concerns.....that's well and good, but how does Cousins help that with zero meaningful snaps? That's what veteran backups are for. As usual, I stopped paying attention to the Redskins draft 10 minutes into Round 1. I can't think of a team with worse outside-of-the-first-round instincts than that organization. It seems like they are tired of drafting WR busts and decided the best method to cure that was completely ignore them. Fucking sucks....they killed their own excitement from Day 1 with continued, late draft stupidity. Redwagon nails Shanny exactly.....his legacy without that dude named Elway is iffy at best. There aren't holes everywhere.....the Redskin defense is pretty solid....the secondary is a bit thin now, but they are overall an above-average unit. The needs are at WR and OL. I thought this was a very deep OL draft and that pick could have certainly been used there. But o-linemen don't get talked about on the Monday after, Cousins does. Great work, fellas. E, though it is very difficult for me to be objective here, it really is, I cannot think of one sane reason to spend a 4th pick (when you mortgaged away your next 2 years of good picks) on Kirk Cousins when the gaping deficit in OL, RB, WR and CB is evident. The D is fine, but not up to the standards currently being set by Philly, Dallas and NYG. RG3 is going to get his head knocked off...seriously. They left lots and lots of guards and tackles on the board, guys that would have helped them immediately. Something is fishy here, real fishy, almost like what Numen is saying, that they think RG3 is/will be a bust and that his signing sells enough jerseys to pay for itself. Wow...
