That sucks. I'm sure this will be linked to concussions. Pro football is getting dangerously close to professional wrestling with this kind of stuff.

Very sad. Honestly, this really doesn't come as a surprise based on things I had heard the past few years, he was a train wreck. Ran into him in a bar in Nashville a little over a year ago and he was barely coherent, told me he was high as a kite and was hanging out with what I surmised were hookers based on the conversation. I knew his ex-wife through friends in San Diego and if half the stories she said were true this was inevitable. Truly a lost soul and I will bet anything it will come out that he was heavily addicted to pain-killers.

EDIT: Jim Rome reports that Seau is the eighth member of the 1994 Chargers Super Bowl team to pass on. Sad

Speculation is a mild way of putting it. A lot of people thought it was just that, and that the "fell asleep" part of it was a cover. The car accident was shortly after a domestic violence incident with his girlfriend...

What are you talking about? It makes a lot of sense that after a nice peaceful and relaxing domestic violence situation that he dozed off behind the wheel.
