It's not like I expect him to return, but I don't remember hearing yea/nay one way or the other. At least his arm should be well rested. While at a bar the Friday night before the game enjoying a few beers with my friends and cousin, I was told by a bartender if I didn't leave he would "jizz on my face" and Badger fans applauded around.

Agree its not the end of the world, but hard to spin this as a positive. Not being able to throw for about a year or take any reps with the offense isn't going to help his development.

I have no doubt Phillips intends to compete for the job, but, if he doesn't get it I would embrace some sort of moment in the sun for the guy. He has fought through a lot.

From the comments from 2Beez at Badger Days in the Dells, it sounds like Houston won't get any reps in the fall. The interview I listened to was hard to hear because there was a lot of background noise where the interview was taking place, but it sounded like he said he expected Houston to be ready to throw in the spring.
