An adult immigration plan, like the one Obama had to head off by Rubio, could have really changed the life of some hard working immigrants. As it stands, all these folks are still living in fear. The abuse of hispanics by Obama and his minions is alarming. Gone are the days his administration could run guns and just have them shot in Mexico, another partisan eletoral play. The guy is scum of the earth, beneathe the office. Its a tragedy this was used to head off real reform by Rubio.

Obama is clearly breaking laws he could easily enforce, with the sole purpose of exploiting illegals in a cheap ploy to gain votes. i respect him for breaking the laws of our land, makes it easier to defend tax dodging, racism, stealing from the poor, etc. Reminds me of that drug education commercial where the son says "i learned it from you, dad". Obama is giving the green light to lie, cheat and steal. It America, 300,000,000 will be happy to follow suit.

Profiling is so naughty for this administration. Why do they hate Latino's? This should bolsterour point in undermining Obama with Latino's, just as Rubio gets set to put forth a GOP version of the Dream Act, can't wait to see if democrats try and torpedo that legislation

The Wizard of Az "I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm a 17 year old female. I love Maroon 5. Adam Lambert makes me sweat. Pete Wentz is the shizzle. Shit. Gave it away with "shizzle," didn't I?"

I guess all states' rights aren't created equal.

I've been reading some of his decisions lately, both in the majority and the dissent, and the number of times he says that the other side's analysis "boggles the mind" is startling. In fact, his constant use of that phrase boggles the mind.
"And what authority did Scalia cite for his broad conception of the role of the state? He went back into history to examine the role of states in policing immigration. He pointed out that
In the first 100 years of the Republic, the States enacted numerous laws restricting the immigration of certain classes of aliens, including convicted criminals, indigents, persons with contagious diseases, and (in Southern States) freed blacks. State laws not only provided for the removal of unwanted immigrants but also imposed penalties on unlawfully present aliens and those who aided their immigration.
It’s worth pausing to remember what kind of immigration the states (especially the Southern ones) handled in those bygone days; much of it had to do with slavery, of course. To be sure, Scalia is not endorsing slavery, but his invocation of that ugly chapter in American history suggests, at a minimum, a loss of perspective."

Police shouldn't call in immigration when they suspect an illegal alien or should they? You seem to flip flop on this issue.

Corporate republicans want the cheap labor. The far right wants all illegals gone.

Obama's idea of immigration control is unfettered amnesty for anyone who doesn't get caught crossing. Net migration from Mexico to the United States has come to a statistical standstill, stalling one of the most significant demographic trends of the last four decades. Amid an economic downturn and increased enforcement at the U.S.-Mexico border, the number of Mexicans coming to the United States dropped significantly, while the number of those returning home increased sharply over the last several years, according to a report by the Pew Hispanic Center.

Let's ask the folks running Saguaro National Park how much things have improved over the last four years....As has already been pointed out the part in bold is utter horseshit. What are your thoughts on Reagan and Bush's immigration policy btw? I only brought up those statistics to show how stupid blab's point was about things being worse under Obama. The fact is immigration policy hasn't really changed and I bet it won't for the foreseeable future. Downward pressure in the illegal immigration rate comes from the economy not the president. What drives illegal immigration in the first place is business, not politics. The American economy is dependent on cheap illegal immigrant labor. A lot of the products we consume are produced by cheap illegal immigrant labor. Fixing immigration would probably lead to substantial inflation in certain industries, including some essential ones like meat. I don't think either party really wants to fix the problem. Dems can use it as a wedge issue to pander to Hispanics and Republicans can use it as a wedge issue to pander to their chickenshit nativist base. Everyone's happy and the precious job creators still get their cheap labor.
