After watching a decent portion of it last night I'd have to say I've caught quite a bit on at least 10 different occasions other than the live version early last December. How about you?

Posts: 216 June 26, 2012 8:07 PM	Definitely 5 or 6 times. And a couple of those have been from the version of the game that you can watch on YouTube. Surprisingly, the whole game's right there all in one pretty decent video. Awesome game. Can't wait to go back to Indy.

It seems like everytime I flip past BTN or ESPN Classic there's the Big Ten Championship game, the first Wisconsin / Michigan State game, last year's Wisconsin / Ohio State game, or the Wisconsin / Oregon Rose Bowl. Has any team played in so many instant classics in the same season?

Posts: 9504 June 26, 2012 10:58 PM Mayor of Poundtown	Well 2010 was much of the same. The MSU and TCU losses were close games. The wins over #1 OSU was great and at Iowa was one of the best games I've ever seen.

It used to drive Marvene crazy until she figured out that half the time I was watching a game broadcast on BTN and not watching the copy I stored on the DVR. I usually watch the whole game, bad parts included. If I'm watching a recording, I'll replay several plays throughout the game to look at things like blocking schemes or pass routes. This also drives Marvene crazy, but she has come to accept this as the normal actions of her doddering old fool of a husband. To show you how sick I really am, I've watched the first UW-MSU game all the way through again and will watch it again this week. And lest we forget, I was at that game, and our seats were on the 20 near the corner where the Hail Mary was caught. I had to walk back to the car watching celebrating in-breds being happy. It was one of the most painful walks of my life. I'm using this as a test of manhood. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like Johnson behind the mike. Posts: 5132 June 30, 2012 1:26 PM	My kids watch it a lot. I couldn't get into it for the first few weeks after the game because I thought we got really lucky to win. That subsided by the time the Rose Bowl came around. It's amazing to reflect on how intense last year was. MSU, OSU back to back? I'm surprised I lived through those games. The CCG and Rose Bowl were pretty good, too. Not to beat a dead horse but 20 years ago it would have been inconceivable to spend a Sarurday night watching UW in such an intense, gripping game. We got 4 like that and 2010 was a great year as well. Sucked to lose 3 of 4 last year but it's a dream to even be involved. Maybe 5-10 schools in the entire country can claim the entertainment value we got the last 2 years. As always, this post is written with the express proviso that I am not a chicken little. The sky is not falling. My office window does not have a ledge. I'm happy we won. I heard some ranked teams even lost. I'm glad we are not Virginia Tech. I like our coach. I know these are 19 year old kids. The season is young. Mistakes will get cleaned up. Fowler said even Alabama threw an interception once. The other guys are on scholarship, too. After living through the Don morton era, I'm just glad to be here.

Posts: 6981 June 30, 2012 4:00 PM Sully "Football Saturdays in Madison are holy days."	I've watched the last five minutes of the game 10-15 times. I re-watched the entire second half last night. I did not recall that MSU committed so many penalties (7 for 50 yards for the game compared to 5 for 30 yards for Wisconsin). Of course, their running into the kicker penalty is the one most people remember, but they committed many other penalties in the second half as well (e.g., facemask, offsides, ineligible receiver downfield, etc.).

The MSU player obviously ran into the kicker. What is the question?? Oh course, on the Spartan boards it has morfed into Nortman not being touched and doing a great acting job.
