 Badgers announce games in 2013 & 2014 vs BYU, since i have never been to a game in provo and noticed that when i was there last month it was pretty lilly white, do the fans tailgate ? will the try and recruit badgers fans to the LDS? Will 30,00 drunk college kids scare them away?  I usually try and meet a few visitors to each game but this one freaks out because of how i felt last month in Utah. fill me in world travelers!

Not a whole lot of minorities in the LDS community, 44, except for Pacific Islanders. As to recruiting, no. Mormon fans are crazy about BYU football, and wouldn't want to be distracted. You're not likely to see young men in white shirts and sober ties pedaling through the pre-game crowd. Of course, if you expressed an interest, something I wouldn't recommend, I'm sure they could scare up a bishop or two.

As to tailgating, this is hard to fathom, but you can do so without alcohol. Most Mormons aren't like militant Baptists. They rarely object to you having a drink in their presence. The state stores probably sold you the alcohol in the first place. As to drunks, if I were going, I might be mindful of whose property I was on, and throw up back in the hotel room.
