In the spirit of not having liked stuff of his I've seen, I tried to watch a special of his on NetFlix. It basically consisted of him saying something not terribly funny and the audience going crazy. The only good thing I've seen him do was the the appearance on Louie (Louis CK) where they covered the joke stealing controversy. Any of you jags find him funny? At least mildly amusing? Maybe, but I do know I had students (college-aged) on this year's trip to Australia and New Zealand who just thought he was hilarious so I had to give his standup another try. I made it about 30 minutes before I turned it off as it was so unfunny. Maybe it's the "rockstar" persona but more annoying than him not being funny is that the audience just sucks ass. He'd say something moderately funny and they'd just erupt. BFD!! The new USA show with sigouney weaver, on the other hand, is somewhat intelligent, and I'll continue to watch. Then again, I never watched Seinfeld, so I'm harldy emblematic of US TV audiences.
