Have any board members had the experience of intentionally downsizing their career? I'm wondering if any of you've gotten sick of "chasing it" and just decided to be a "worker bee". I'm considering a new position that would have significantly fewer responsibilities (non-management) and would pay quite a bit less. The upside? A more stable work environment; less stress; no travel.
Anyone out there who has gone down this path? How did it go? Any regrets?
