Jordan Taylor for 43 |

Led his team in the Minny state tourney. I hope he continues to get stronger and can give us some minutes next year.

Taylor was 11-for-21 from the field, including 5-for-9 from 3-point range, and 16-for-18 at the foul line. He also had seven rounds, four assists and two steals.Nice shooting numbers, but I'm unfamiliar with the the "rounds" statistic. |

Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan believes there is an open-door policy in Minnesota for the state's top prospectsBret Bielema and Barry Alvarez agree, so I guess it's unanimous.
These ARE the good old days!

Patrick Reusse's morning radio sports commentary on KSTP radio (1500 AM/St. Paul) earlier this morning raved about Jordan Taylor. In addition, Reusse
discussed Bo Ryan's ability to spot young talent and move on players quickly.

The comments below the article in the Tribune are pretty hilarious.
I can't tell if they are more pissed that the Badgers keep stealing their players or that Taylor's classmates are partying in Mexico over spring break. |

Is that an ultra rich school district?
Cabo is an expensive spring break trip for HS age kids. |

From the comments ("if the parents can afford to send their kids to..."), it sounds like a private school.

I love what I've been hearing about this class. I think Bo found some real gems.
Robert Wilson - compared to Finley, super athletic Ian Markolf - compared to Aaron Gray, already looks like he has a Big Ten body Jordan Taylor - just dropped 43 in the state tournament, dudes already ripped Jared Berggren - guy almost averaged a triple double, can't have enough 6'10'' + guys who have a good feel around the hoop We could also possibly get the kid from Arizona who was second team all-state and have him walk-on. |

Ian Markolf - compared to Aaron Gray, already looks like he has a Big Ten body I think that's what we heard about Gavinski too. Not bashing anyone, but for every Aaron Gray there are 10 big, plodding guys that never "get it". |

This kid is way more advanced physically than what JP was and maybe is. Look at the pictures of his body from this thread, http://www.recruitingplanet.com/forum/wisconsin-basketball-recruiting/4890-08-tx-c-ian-markolf-uw-verbal.html It looks like his body is from a guy who already has played 2-3 years of college basketball. |

Point taken on Ian vs. JP. Ian looks much more phyiscally developed.
My main point was that an Aaron Gray comparison isn't necesarily ideal. |
