Posts: 2922 September 29, 2012 10:49 PM	I kind of feel the same... never, ever, ever expected to win this game.... although up 17 in the third was a pretty good feeling. Unfortunately this team is no where near being consistent enough (right now) to put together a full game against a quality opponent. I chalked this one up as a loss before the season even started so it's a net wash, but this certainly could have been a tide turner for the rest of the year. This team will have to fight for every victory it gets, it will be interesting to see if they keep their heads up and keep improving. What a cretin. It must be tough to face the media when everyone in the room knows the other coach just came into your building, with less talent (on paper), and drank your fucking milkshake - again. Posts: 2093 September 29, 2012 10:51 PM Big Red presence in the South	Once Nebraska's onslaught started I knew it would be extra tough to come out with a win. One of those games where even though I had it as a certain loss, damn it was within reach and but for 4 points missed it very well could've been different. No doubt we'll rebound well against Illinois, and if we win at Purdue I'll feel a lot better about where the season is going.

There was no leadership in that second half ... from coaches or players. Wisconsin has above average talent, but nothing great. Its not about stars.

Abby is our best player, should we put up flags for him too?

Posts: 3646 September 30, 2012 9:10 AM Beware the milkman!	I was prepared all day for the Badgers to get smoked. At kickoff, the game was a formality. Somehow, circumstances actually found a way to make a three-point loss at Nebraska gut-wrenching. Pretty cruel. The Badgers lost in a very frustrating way. A completely unexpected 17 point lead only to completely fall apart in every way. The way that team folded makes me concerned that they will make a bowl game. I feel worse about them now than I did when I expected them to lose by three scores. Illinois - win Purdue - lose, unfortunately, but if we get an unlikely win we are going to the championship game Minnesota - win MSU - lose Indiana - coin flip OSU - lose PSU - lose Two big games this year, both in Indiana, with a HUGE range of ramifications: 1. A win at Purdue wins the division. 2. A win at Indiana gives us a bowl game.
