I won't defend any Cubs fans on here... lots of us make jokes, poke fun, ect... But what during your time on earth has shown you that Brewers fans are any different. This board is a perfect example of Brewer fans acting exactly as Cubs fans are portrayed. Hell, I see the same friggin' Cubs jokes over, and over and over and over and over again on this board. A Brewer fan just called us D-Bags... explain how that is any better than the "D-Bag Cubs fan" everyone has in their heads? I swear, there is a legit weirdness in the way Brew fans see Cubs fans. Is there a chip on Brewers fans shoulder? How can you see what you see on this board from Brewers fans, and put them at a higher level than Cubs fans? This board is full of jokes about the Cubs: the fans, the stadium, the city... the fact that they haven't won... but what have the Brewers won? What am I missing that puts Brewers fans ahead of Cubs fans, and gives them the go ahead to rip on Cubs fans, but at the same time get their panties in a bundle if a Cubs fan strikes back? What's the glaring difference? What's the difference between the way this board was when the Packers had a good season and the Bears and Vikings sucked? Where's the difference!?!?! Someone needs to explain this to me. If this is just "my local sports team is better than your local sports team," I'd love to hear that. But it seems to be something entirely different.

Seeing that it's still getting a ton of action, I opened it tonight and scrolled down, read the last few posts. Seems like both sides have done yeoman's work to lower the level of discourse. Nice job, guys.

Cubs fan making fun of any other team's fans for over-reacting = hypocritical. I'm not going to use the board, Hulk, because I've got a slightly larger sample size of 20 years of watching Cubs fans throughout SW Wisconsin and NE Iowa. Every team's fanbase has jagoffs. I know many such Brewers fans. Ever team's fanbase has outstanding followers. I know many such Cubs fans. But that doesn't change the bottom line. There are a lot of D-Bag fans for both the Cubs and Brewers; obviously much more for the Cubs because of the size of the fan base. I get the notion that Brewers fans legitimately put themselves on a higher level than Cubs fans...but anyone who thinks Brewers fans are angels are sorely mistaken. Just take a look at this board, the Brewers fans are pretty d-baggish at times too. The fact that Brewers fans see Cubs fans as a lower breed is quite laughable, especially considering the "100 year losers" jokes coming from fans who have likely not seen their team win anything either. I'll finish with this, and I hope this isn't shocking: Other big ten schools rip on Badgers fans. We are trash to them. According to them, Wisconsin fans are arrogant d-bags who treat opposing fans like shit when they come to our stadium. The Wisconsin student section is vulgar and foul and borderline embarrassing. Opposing fans also question what gives Wisconsin fans the nerve to act so damn arrogant? Hhhmmm.... Lordy that sounds familiar..
