I'm listening to The Herd right now and I think he brings up some very good points. He has mentioned that the Big Ten media is weak and keeps defending how the Big Ten is not weaker then the SEC. The SEC is better then the Big Ten and the media still kills the SEC coaches and programs. All you really need to look at his how Ohio St. had done in the last two championship games. The Badgers, Ill., and Ohio St. are the top three programs in the Big Ten right now. Some people could argue that Penn St. is the 4th best team.

Objectivity be damned, our conference should always be #1 in the eyes of the scribes living in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Detroit.

I take that to mean Herd's view (and Johnny's, since he's not capable of an original thought, idea, publication, etc.) is that the Big Ten media should be less objective. In other words, they should fellate Big Ten teams (almost becoming cheerleaders or extension of each school's PR department) rather than make excuses and defend outside attacks on the Big Ten.

Dude, the Big Ten medial needs to be more aggressive towards the football programs. They are to soft. Go back to college and take a critical thinking class. Several listeners agreed with this analysis.
