play for Denver beginning this year, breaking his verbal agreement to UW for 2009-2010.

Hi, new poster on this board: I can't blame Wiercioch for doing this; he was going to be 6th or 7th on the depth chart on Defense at best. I think Eaves
over-recruited at D anticipating McBain, McDonagh or both were going to be gone. If he hadn't left it would have made Craig Johnson one the odd men out
and I thik he earned his spot last year when Brendan Smith went down. The only way this turns into a big loss is if there are multiple losses to the pros at
the end of the year. Schultz coming in next year will probably make people say "Patrick who"?

It makes sense for the kid. It's disappointing for UW. Whatever. I hope he fares better than the last "elite" D-man that reneged on UW.

Will good for him. Gets a chance to play D1 college hockey instead of one more season in the USHL, all the more power to him. I was really looking forward to
watching him play at the KC, just not in another uni. Best of luck to him.
