"I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm a 17 year old female. I love Maroon 5. Adam Lambert makes me sweat. Pete Wentz is the shizzle.
Shit. Gave it away with "shizzle," didn't I?"

Trump fires Comey. The Dems are livid about Comey being fired. It's almost like there was an intervening event that made Trump change his mind and fire Comey and also change the way Dems felt about Comey being fired. Can anyone here help me out? Did something come up in the last few months? I'm trying to think of what might have shifted each side's thinking on this.
If you support the firing but are "slightly troubled" by the timing, you are missing the entire point. But you know that already, because you are trying to. The timing is everything. The obstruction is in the timing. This has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not Comey should have been fired. It has absolutely everything to do with why Trump fired him, and when. Had Trump fired Comey the day he took office, there would have been no backlash from the Dems. He did not. Trump did not decide to fire Comey until his investigation got too close to Trump. This should have been obvious to everyone. The way the bullshit justification unraveled in one day made it even more so. This argument that Dems are hypocrites because they wanted Comey fired last October? Mind numbingly stupid. Perfectly designed for Trump's supporters.
Trump is finding out that bullshitting the way he did in his previous life does not cut it under the scrutiny of Washington DC. He's used to saying or doing whatever he has to in order to con people, then keep the con going for another day. He doesn't have to worry about tomorrow until tomorrow. He's just piling up deal fees and management fees, anyway. When he can't put people off anymore he drags everyone into the muck of litigation. When that won't work, he files for bankruptcy. Can't do that now, but his strategy on Comey exposes his naivete and amateurism. "I'll fire Comey. Anyone complains, we'll just point out that they wanted him fired last October. And to prove it wasn't my idea, I'll have Sessions and the DAG write letters." He thinks everyone is stupid.

Obama fired him in 2014.
Then Flynn went to Russia and sat next to Putin.
Then Trump brought him onto his campaign.
Then Flynn was an unregistered foreign agent, taking dark money to promote Turkey, and this was reported in main stream newspapers.
Then Flynn floated a plan to illegally kidnap a Turkish dissident in the US.
Then Obama warned Trump about putting Flynn on the NSA.
Then Trump was supposed to vet him before putting him on the NSA.
Then Flynn contacted the Russian ambassador on the day that Obama imposed Russian sanctions, and communicated with him about the sanctions.
Then Trump put him on the NSA.
Then Sally Yates personally went to the WH to warn them about Flynn lying to Pence and being compromised in a way that made him susceptible to Russian blackmail, and having some underlying behavior that was problematic in and of itself.
Then Trump waited 18 days while Flynn was privy to our top secrets.
Then journalists reported that Flynn was lying about not having talked to the Russians about sanctions in Dec.
Then Trump fired Flynn.
