As of August 25, 2008, the rapture index is at 163! Can't wait to see what the numbers are after the Republic convention in the Twin Cities. My guess is that McCain's selection of the fundamentalist evangelical Palin as the Republic's Vice Presidential nominee (in addition to firming up his base among the righteous and holy who favor the Republic party) will probably push those numbers up and nudge us closer to the millennium!
